Activision dissolved its Guitar Hero franchise, Ubisoft is looking to fill the music game gap with newly announced Rocksmith.Due for release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Fall 2011, Rocksmith will allow gamers to plug any standard guitar into their games console, and learn to play a variety of rock and pop songs.Ubisoft promises that the game will be suitable for both beginners and more experienced guitar players alike, adapting to your personal skill level. A total of 17 new songs have been revealed for the upcoming music rhythm game, Rock Band 4. Harmonix has announced another plethora of diverse songs with their latest reveal. Songs include artists such as Scorpions, Fall Out Boy, System of a Down, The Black Keys, and more.These new songs join an already large setlist with artists such as Elvis Presley, Aerosmith, Foo Fighers, and The Who. Even though Rock Band 4 has one of the lowest budgets of any game in the series, Harmonix has promised a very strong and deep setlist.Rock Band 4 is scheduled to release on October 6 for Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Harmonix has released five new songs for the music game, including tunes from Beck, BØRNS, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Cold War Kids, and X Ambassadors. We've now collected those songs into one masterlist, which we'll continue to update as Harmonix announces more in the run-up to Rock Band 4's release in October.In all, Rock Band 4 will offer 60+ songs on-disc, so the list below is nearly complete. Harmonix on Monday announced 13 more songs for Rock Band 4, completing the game's soundtrack.The new tracks are listed below, and are very varied. Classic rock fans may enjoy Lynyrd Skynyrd's "That Smell," while there is also the Brad Paisley country song "Start a Band" and the '90s cut "Follow You Down" by Gin Blossoms.
